DUST JACKET PROJECT
Dust Jacket is a record by Joel P West that was originally only available by trading something handmade, and this gallery is an anonymous collection of everything that was been exchanged. The record is now available at Bandcamp.

This is a picture I took at the Planet Bluegrass Folks Festival in August 2008, set at the edge of the Saint Vrain River (or Creek) in Lyons, CO.  My wife and I flew to Colorado from Arkansas for the sole purpose to hear Greg Brown at Folks Festival.  It poured for two days straight, but stopped for Greg Brown’s set…which unleashed in the sky the first double rainbow that I have ever seen.  My pictures don’t do the double rainbow justice, and I can’t play or sing like Greg Brown, so I am sending this picture.  I love this picture.  I can still hear the water running and the music playing.
